Holidays at The Village Returns
Holidays at The Village Returns Nov. 21 With Grand Tree Lighting, Holiday Shopping and Community Food Drive
Six-week celebration runs through Jan. 3
Holiday cheer arrives at The Village at Rancharrah on Saturday, Nov. 21, with the start of Holidays at The Village, presented by Dolan Auto Group. Running through Sunday, Jan. 3, 2027, the six-week celebration features the sixth annual Grand Tree Lighting Ceremony, a Village-wide Holiday Sip & Shop, seasonal gatherings and a food drive benefiting the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
“We like to call The Village Reno’s family room, and the holidays are a wonderful time to bring that idea to life,” said Kristin Rolling, marketing director and event organizer of The Village at Rancharrah. “Whether it’s gathering for the Grand Tree Lighting, shopping for gifts or spending time with family and friends, we want The Village to be a place where our community comes together throughout the season.”
The holiday program begins with the tree lighting and continues with opportunities to shop at local businesses, gather with family and friends, and support neighbors facing food insecurity.
Grand Tree Lighting Ceremony: Saturday, Nov. 21, 4–7 p.m.
The sixth annual Grand Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place on The Village’s central lawn. Guests can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus and enjoy live music by the Jef Derderian Trio.
